His description of a vision is different than the "third Heaven" "Astral" stuff that the heretics are pursuing. He did not ask for or attempt to manifest this experience. My wife had a hell like experience in visions during a time of severe illness. Her experience and the visions she saw were very similar to Bill's. Again I am a strong proponent of 1 John 4 and I am adamant about testing which is also why I googled and found you.

I believe that music or songs are to be discerned as pleasing to God based on their beauty and content (Phil. 4:8), not on the belief system or character of the persons involved in their production. As an example, secular musicians often sing "amazing grace." The fact of their being unbelievers does not take away from the ability of the song to edify the soul, assuming it is performed in a traditional sense. The Apostle Paul says, What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice (Phil. 1:18). In other words, Paul rejoiced in the truth being proclaimed irrespective of the intent or character of the messengers. If the above-mentioned song endorsed the beliefs or theology of the singers or musicians involved that would be an entirely different matter. However, the content of the song "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing" is biblically sound theology.

Nonetheless, since, as you have pointed out, it could be misconstrued as endorsing an aberrant theology I have taken it off the website.
