Job 8

Introduction

1  Bildad shews God's justice in dealing with men according to their works.
8  He alleges antiquity to prove the certain destruction of the hypocrite.
20  He applies God's just dealing to Job.

Verse 1

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
