Matthew 1

Introduction

1  The genealogy of Christ from Abraham to Joseph.
18  He is miraculously conceived of the Holy Ghost by the Virgin Mary, when she was espoused to Joseph.
19  The angel satisfies the doubts of Joseph, and declares the names and office of Christ: Jesus is born.
