For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."(Gal. 5:14)

Jesus sums up all the law into two commands: Love God and love others. To Love is to fulfill the whole law. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Gal. 5:14)

The Apostle Paul writes "For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.(Romans 13:9, 10) And in 1 Corinthians 16:14, Let all that you do be done in love.

The following table of Bible passages help us to understand how much emphasis the Scriptures place on our obligation as Christians to love and care for one another.

I do not think you have done full justice to the biblical passages talking about the different places where our attitude towards others is mentioned. But I commend you the excellent work that you have done in getting the most important ones so that we have a reference base. That was quite a painstaking task that you have carried out. What all religions talk is about love as it is love that is the basic premise of life.

I've been wanting to do a study on the "one anothers" for sometime now. I plan to use the work you've done and if Bible Covers is aware of any others I would be glad to include them, as well. Thank you!
