Isaiah 52

Introduction

1  Christ persuades the church to believe his free redemption,
7  to receive the ministers thereof,
9  to joy in the power thereof,
11  and to free themselves from bondage.
13  Christ's kingdom shall be exalted.
Verse 1

Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
